Germanica Cow Family

15

Germanica Sunset is one of my favorite cows. Looks like a 4 year old and never a health problem. I can't recall this cow ever being in the chute other than for vaccinations. The Germinca's orginated from the Hale Farms and Bill Hale knew how to select and breed cattle that made money in the every day world. She is easy to look at and when she dropped a Yankee heifer that stood 4th at the NAILE we decided to flush her. The first heifer calf in this flush is below. Pasture exposed to GCC Mr Tags78.

13

A Germanica/DF Yankee daughter that convinced us to flush Germanica Sunset to Sonny. This 3 year old placed 4th at the NAILE as a calf

xd02

DAF Germanica XD02 - A Tuscaloosa daughter out of Germanica Sunset that matured into a nice yearling heifer with little exposure to anything other than hay and pasture. Much like her mother she will be an easy keeper. AI'd to Sull Red Demand, due 2/8/12

21

Oh my, the result of Sonny on Germanica Sunset. This heifer will be competitive and grow to be a great brood cow.
.

12

DAF Lilly WD10 - A first calf heifer out of Lily 6R and Red Vision. She had a really nice Red Demand bull calf this year that we probably should have weaned earlier before the hot summer heat. Her picture does not do her justice and she will be in much better shape on sale day. Pasture exponsed to GCC Mr Tags 78.

11

DAF Lily WD14 ET - Much the same story on this first calf heifer, a bull calf and stifling heat got her pretty thin. She will be in better shape on sale day. Pasture exposed to GCC Mr Tags 78

Revival Cow Family

919

DAF Revival UD19ET - Her mother SS Revival 317 was at the top of Schrag's 2007 sale at $17500. Corey would tell you this may be the best Sonny/Revival to ever leave his farm. Unfortunately we lost her at an early age and only obtained one flush to Tuscaloosa. She has a lot of the thickness and natural muscle that is so evident in the Revivals. Pasture exposed to GCC Mr Tags 78, due 1/24/11

6

DAF Revival's Demand - We liked SS Revival 317 so much we purchased a package of embryos bred the same way. The result was the dam of this heifer calf. who is much like her sister but in a more moderate package. This heifer calf has the shape and muscle expression of the Revivals but with more rib shape and capacity at her young age. She will show and than be a good brood cow.

Vixon Cow Family

3

DAF VixonET - A full sib to Stacy Fischer's 2007 National Western Grand Champion Female FG Miss Vixon. Moderate, powerful, capacity best describe this female. She has been in the show barn all summer and would be easily ready for the NAILE. Selling open, ready to breed.

Pregnancy - A full sib to FG Miss Vixon and the DAF Vixon ET. The recip on this pregancy is pretty special also. We were thinking of breeding her for a Shorthorn Plus. Due 3/13/11.

Carmele Cow Family

17

DF Carmele 35W ET - This one is hard to part with. Carmele on the top and bottom of the pedigree. We fell in love with her at Bob's sale. She was a little moderate for the times but probably just about right now. Beautifully profiled, the Carmele front end with adequate thickness. She will have a great one some day. Pasture exposed to GCC Mr Tags 78, due 4/8/11.

20

DAF Carmele's Demand - We really like the Red Demand bull. They have all been consistently moderate at birth and all exhibit that extra capacity and rib shape that is in demand today. This heifer calf already has that brood cow look in a moderate package.

Other Consignments

18

DAF Quantum Queen YD10 ET - Full sib to the $7000 heifer purchased in the 2010 Duis Invitational. Performance galore in this heifer, excellent spring of rib in a muscular package.

5

DAF Playful Cait ET - This one is good and she knows it. Very upheaded, she is the one every visitor notices. Has all the right parts to be very competitive in the right hands. I would not recommend her for the young 4-Her as she can be a handful.

16

Sull Red Maggie ET - A much admired female from the 2010 " No Bull" sale. Long spined and the attractive front that is often seen in WHR genetics. Sull Right Direction added some capacity and thickness. She is a really nice breeding piece. Pasture exposed to GCC Mr Tags 78, due 2/14/11

24

DAF Shanie - A daughter of Ryan Barker's 1999 NAILE Reserve Grand Champion RB Shanie. Reserve Jr All American & Honorable Mention Open All American. There is a lot of cow in this female, some would consider her to have too much frame but when you analyze her she has the rib shape to go with the frame score. Breed her to Jazz and you could have a really good one. Pasture exposed to GCC Mr Tags 78. THC. PHAF
.

22

SS Roses 774 ET - The pedigree has made a lot of money for many Shorthorn breeders. She was one of the high selling heifer calves at Schrags 2007 sale. Pasture exposed to GCC Mr Tags 78, due 3/26/11

14

DAF Lila TD24 ET - A really nice profiling and correct Pretender daughter. Good bone, long spine and long hipped would best describe her, Pasture exposed to GCC Mr Tags 78 due 3/9/11

7

DAF Bonnie Fay - Mike Dugdale found this heifer's grand dam for me and we have sold more show calves (heifers and steers) from that cow's Double Stuff daughter than any cow we have ever owned. If she is like her dam, there may not be any 5 figure animals but a lot calves for $2000-5000 in her future. Sure do miss Mike Dugdale. Pasture exposed to GCC Mr Tags 78, due 3/10/11. TH status pending.
